Hey There!

Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time for you! I’m Amy, owner of Amy Jakubowski Photography and I am SO excited that you have found me! I believe that getting to know my clients is the best way to ensure that they have an awesome experience so I’d love to tell you a little about myself!

I am located in Northern Wisconsin. I’m a photographer, school counselor, and wanna be farmer. I am always creating, diy-ing, or flipping something, drinking coffee and trying to keep up with my kids. I firmly believe you can never have too many animals or eat too many cheese curds. I live for summers spent on the boat and watching sunsets over our field.

Most importantly I care about my clients, their wedding day, and their experience. Photography means more to me than just being able to take a pretty picture. To me it means making clients feel comfortable and having fun, while also creating gorgeous images!

My Philosophy

I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all exciting but can also be somewhat overwhelming. My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience! When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images. My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience they will never forget.

The Process

One way I ensure that brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming relationships with my couples. I try and make sure that I am the best fit for a couple before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer, and be EXCITED about the whole process. After booking, I love to get to know my clients through an engagement session and help them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to roll on their wedding day. By the time the wedding day approaches my clients feel more like friends and this creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography.
